Game Development Team
Three main roles are essential to be fulfilled in order to make a complete game. These are the Game Developer, Game Designer and Game Artist.

The Game Designer
The Game Designers create the overall architecture of game mission and levels, and populate them with object, enemies and so on. It’s possible that’s there’s also a lead Game Designer. The Lead Designer often lays out the overall blueprint for the game in an overall Game Design Document and will continuously contribute throughout the process by reaction to changes and fine tuning the design.
The Game Developer
The Game Developers are the programmers in the development team and are responsible for creating the tools for art and the development of a game engine that can produce the game’s AI, graphics, and sound. The most common programming language is C++. In big teams there it is regular to have sub roles for the Game Developers. These can be: the Lead Developer who leads the team of developers, the Tools Developer, the Engine Developer, the AI Developer or the Graphics Developer.
The Game Artist
The Game Artist create and animate characters, textures, backgrounds, vehicles, etc. They are responsible for the visual look and animation of objects and characters in the game.
The bigger the team and stakes the more roles and sub roles can be present.
The Producer
The producer is head of the team and concerned with managing the whole process. He needs to have a broad understanding of the technical skills used by all members of the team.
Game Tester
Game testers play the game or parts of the game repeatedly and record all bugs they come across. They may also assist the design team by providing feedback about difficulty and gameplay issues.
Sound Designer
Responsible for all sounds in a game.
Writers
Sometimes professional writers are brought to work for dialogues, scripts and cut-scenes.
Localization manager
Responsible for converting games for audiences across the globe.
